Death in mourning

Morning disturbs death
I survived nightmares
Her opened soul
Her waking smile
My tired psyche
My crumpled age
Nightmares depleted me
Coffee restored me
Death in mourning

This poem came about by responding to a Twitter request for a 3 word poem.

I tweeted the first line, made a coffee and the rest of the poem followed 🙂

I'd love to hear your thoughts :)
